TITLE: Marilyn Monroe

TITLE: James & Laura's Portrait

TITLE: Beer Monsters 20" x 30"

This client wanted her portrait to be something "eye catching and trendy" so I created her this Pop Art portrait and changed the colours to suit the clients room decor. When asked whether she wanted the beer glasses removed from the scene she replied that she wanted them to stay as her husband was a "beer monster" hence the title. The style of Pop Art went with this portrait very well as it is an image of a group of mates on a night out relaxed and having fun, Pop Art I always feel is energetic and fun and represents the subjects here brilliantly.

TITLE: Sunset at Gran Calahonda 35"x45"

This sea scape scene was created from a image on a postcard the clients had found in a gift shop near their apartment in Calahonda Spain. They wanted a painting that had some thing to do with the location of their apartment and something that brought a 'holiday' feel to the room. I enhanced the colours within the image to give a more powerful effect.

TITLE: For Joanne 24X18

This portrait was created for a client as a gift to his mother. He wanted the painting to have a very warm feel to go with her homes decor, and also show the nature of the child. Children always make the most beautiful portraits and a portrait is alot more effective and beautiful then any photograph. A portrait is the perfect gift, and an item they can treasure forever, its also a great way to show some one you care.

TITLE: The Tottenham Cockerel

This pop art painting is of the English Football team Tottenham Hotspurs cockerel. The cockerel and ball, now famous in the club's history, first appeared in 1909 when former player William James Scott cast a copper statue, which was placed on the new West Stand. I was asked to create originally the painting of the Tottenham football club badge but thought this image was alot more appealing and interesting for me to paint. the client was more then happy with the final results.

TITLE: Anniversary 12"X16"

This portrait was commissioned for an anniversary gift. As you can see from the original photograph (above) I have cut out a third person showing that any adjustment and changes can be made when creating a portrait from a photograph. Within the male subject his lips have been brought closer together as the client did not want his mouth wide open and has been altered so that he is standing up right. The final result creates an emphasis on the union of marriage and the happiness and love they share as husband and wife.
