TITLE: Rose Wall Mural 0028 3.5mx2.5m

A wall mural is the perfect way to bring uniqueness and individuality into your home. The clients did not have any ideas as to what they wanted painted just a colour scheme they desired. From this a number of concepts were created and the clients were able to choose what would be best suited for the type of room they wanted. The picture was composed as the center piece to the room, the remainder of the room is painted white and decor is minimal contrasting greatly to the vibrant pinks within this painting.

TITLE: Marilyn in Stripes 24" x 20"

Marilyn Monroe has always been of great interest and fascination to me, she represents youth, fun, colour and excitement, sexuality, glamour and Hollywood . Marilyn more then any other icon represent's the Golden era of Hollywood and still today remains one of the most famous, controversial, beautiful and powerful figures of all time.

With this colourful portrait I have created a piece of attractive pop art that has a real energetic, fun and exciting feel to it. The bright bold colours of yellow, mint, pink and white create a very modern feel perfect for minimal decor and to brighten up any room.

TITLE: PSN Beach 24"x30"

Sea scapes or beach scenes are always popular commission choices in the summer time and they are really good to brighten up a room and carry that happy relaxed summer time mood in to the winter. They can also bring back beautiful memories of a holiday which always puts you in a fantastic mood. With this painting the clients wanted something simple with bright green and blue colours contrasting with a white sandy beach. For inspiration I looked through images from holiday brochures and went from there. The style of painting to the clients request is alot different to what I usually do they wanted to see the brush strokes on the painting and wanted the paint to be risen, this meant layering the piece with lots of paint and not always blending in every colour added the overall effect is very interesting and visually beautiful.

TITLE: Dancing with Elvira 24"x 30"

Michelle Pfeiffer is stunning as Elvira Hancock in the gangster movie "Scar Face" I am often asked to create portraits and paintings around this movie but when I was inspired to create this Pop Art portrait I wanted to capture a scene and have the center focus to be of a key figure that is often shadowed by Al Pacino. Elvira is a perfect choice within the portrait she is cool and elegant while Tony Montana is in great contrast to the hard, edgy character he is usually portrayed to be. Instead Tony Montana is nervous and wooden captured and over powered by Elviras charm.

TITLE: Hollywood

These three famous faces were some of the biggest stars of the Golden age of Hollywood. This pop art painting portrays Lauren Becall, Humprey Bogart & Marilyn Monroe taken from a famous secne of the duo at the "How to Marry a Millionaire" premier.

TITLE: Audrey Heburn 008

This pop art painting was commissioned by a client along with a Marilyn Monroe portrait in the same colours, the client had seen my pop art vases and wanted the same within a painting.

This is a famous image of Audrey Hepburn taken from her most famous film "Breakfast at Tiffany's" 1961 where she plays the memorable fun loving character of Holly Golightly. The portrait is only made up of three colours and is very simplistic but very affective. These styles of pop art are fantastic for display in homes with minimalist decor or set colour themes and can be created in any colour. I have added two small rhinestones on her earrings just to give that little bit of extra glamour to the painting.

TITLE: England Three Lions

The England football team logo of the Three Lions is a very popular image and recognised world wide. With this painting I have combined the Three Lions logo with the St George's flag in the back ground, however to make the painting a little bit more original I created the St Georges red cross by using lots of images of famous England footballers from past and present as seen with the detail above.
